¡Hola! I’m Danny…

I’ve lived in Spain since 2008, and have visited much of Southern and Eastern Spain as well as being a frequent visitor to the Canary and the Balearic Islands.

I want to use the experience and knowledge I’ve gained to help travelers like yourself explore Spain like a pro, and with my help you will have the trip to Spain you’ve always wanted. Seeing and experiencing things you were never expecting to, and that you would never have known about if you hadn’t visited my site!

How did I end up in Spain?

I’m a former office manager who decided it was time to ditch the dreary 9 til 5 life for a fresh start somewhere new…. and somewhere warm!

After much consideration, my wife and I eventually decided that Spain would become our new home. We had already been to the Balearic and Canary Islands and the Southern coast of Spain many times, as well as taking city breaks to Barcelona and Madrid. In the end we decided that the Costa Blanca would be the ideal location for us.

In early 2008, whilst looking for places to live, we were driving through the Jalón Valley on the Costa Blanca just by chance and thought, WOW! We immediately fell in love with the place. We decided there and then that the Jalón Valley was where we wanted to live and raise our young family!

As it happens, Jalón Valley also ended up being a great base from which to travel and see so many other fascinating and beautiful parts of Spain. (Apart from the North and North Western regions, they are still a bit of a trek…..but still doable!)

Why Should You Listen to Me?

I offer visitors to my site a perspective from someone who lives in Spain and who has experienced so much of what is great about the country especially the Costa Blanca region of the country. If you’re researching before visiting Spain, and the Costa Blanca in particular, then surely it makes sense to listen to someone who has first hand knowledge of the area?

I will always strive to provide visitors to my site with consistently accurate and up to date information, something that isn’t always easy to come by online! In fact, one of the main reasons I felt this site was needed was because I’ve performed the same searches online as countless others, and I know only too well how outdated most of the information is!!
